Cementnova:
Cementnova is a natural, water-based textured coating perfect for achieving various cement effects indoors. It adds elegance and a unique visual appeal to modern and contemporary spaces. Ideal for those who appreciate urban and industrial styles.
New concrete, masonry or plaster:
Allow the newly constructed cement surface to cure for minimum of 30 days, prior to application of J&N Acrylic Base Water Thinnable Cement Primer. Ensure that the wall to be painted is completely dry and free from any cement residue. Apply one coat of J&N Acrylic Base Water Thinnable Cement Primer at the recommended dilution level, using standard brush or spray application. Let it dry for minimum 4-5 hours and then apply Jensolin White Cement based Wall Putty using Putty Knife. Allow it to dry for 4-6 hrs. Follow this with one more coat of JN Speciality Primer.
Compact cement Effect:
Apply a coat of Cementnova with a stainless steel trowel. While still wet, roll over it with a clean sponge roller. After 15-20 minutes, spray water on the nearly dry film and smooth out any sharp edges. After 24 hours, apply tinted Speciality Clear 100 with a stainless steel trowel as shown in the picture.
Vintage Effect:
Apply Cementnova with a stainless steel trowel. After 15-20 minutes, spray water on the nearly dry film and smooth any sharp edges. After 24 hours, place a stencil on the film and apply Cementnova over it. Remove the stencil to create the pattern. Make vintage patterns by removing the stencil in some areas and reapplying Cementnova. After another 24 hours, apply tinted Speciality Clear 100 with a stainless steel trowel as shown in the picture.
Large Cement Effect:
Apply Cementnova using the Stainless Steel Trowel.Next, while still wet, run the Brush over the surface, by pressing the bristles on the surface with irregular movements in order to create discontinuous veining. After about 20 – 30 minutes, when the product starts to dry, smooth the surface with the Stainless Steel Trowel with multiple movements and increasing the pressure as the coating continues to dry. Continue until the surface is partially smooth, leaving visible the notches created earlier and the irregular veining. Next, use a pointed tool (i.e. screwdriver) to create the grouting effect of the desired size. After 24 hours, when the Cementnova is completely dry, apply a coat of tinted Speciality Clear 100 with a stainless steel trowel.
Slim Cement Effect:
Apply Cementnova using the Stainless Steel Trowel.Next, while still wet, run the Brush over the surface, by pressing the bristles on the surface with irregular movements in order to create discontinuous veining.
