Luminova:
Luminova is an indoor water-based paint stands out with its shimmering reflections and 3D color effects, bringing to mind the graceful movement of ocean waves. Suitable for indoor use, this water-based paint adds a touch of luminescence and dynamic color to your living spaces.
To create the colours displayed in the catalogue, colour JN Colour Therapy Basecoat with the corresponding quantity of Colorants. To obtain the typical Luminova shades, add the two cans of Metallic colorants to each of the two packs of Luminova, in the two different shades.
New surfaces:
Use a suitable filler to repair the surface where necessary. When dry, sand the surface and apply a coat of JN Colour Therapy Basecoat diluted with 10-15% water, apply one more coat till covering the surface.
Old surfaces:
Remove old peeling or chalking paint and wash using a suitable product. Next, apply a coat of JN Speacility primer diluted 50% with water to act as a fixative.
Application:
Use a roller or brush to apply one coat ofJN Colour Therapy Basecoat with the corresponding colorants, to cover new, intact and smooth surfaces (2 coatings for White colour and light tones),
preferably using criss-cross strokes. After 8 hours, apply LUMINOVA using the appropriate Double Brush consisting of 2 paired brushes, each of which can be wetted with a different colour without inverting them.
Apply LUMINOVA gradually over a small surface of roughly 1 – 2 m2(at a time).Theapplication technique consists in applying a small amount of product with alternating brush strokes in all directions.
While the paint is still partly wet, brush over without paint:
Apply criss-cross strokes and spread the crystal particles of LUMINOVA while applying pressure.This will create the impression of sea waves with broad and jagged – but not
round – waves. As a final touch, we recommend passing over the surface with delicate crisscross brush strokes to remove any marks left by the brush.

JN Speciality primer – 15 to 20% with water
JN Colour Therapy Basecoat – 10-15% water

Coverage:
JN Speciality primer – 80 to 120 Sq.ft per Ltr
JN Colour Therapy Basecoat – 90 to 100 Sq.ft per Ltr for 2 coats
Luminova – 90 to 100 Sq.ft per Ltr
