New surfaces:
Use a suitable filler to repair the surface where necessary. When dry, sand the surface and apply a coat of JN Speciality primer diluted 15 – 20% with water.
Old surfaces:
Remove old peeling or chalking paint and wash using a suitable product. Next, apply a coat of JN Speacility primer diluted 50% with water to act as a fixative. After approximately 4 hours, apply a second coat of JN Speciality primer diluted 20 – 30% with water. However, if the surfaces are sound and not chalking, apply a single coat of JN Speciality Primer diluted 20 – 30% with water.
To obtain the effects shown in the catalogue, JN Speciality Primer must be coloured with the relative amount of Colorants. Furthermore, to obtain the metallic nuances, Serenova Glitter must be supplemented with the JN Speciality Metallic Colorants available in 6 different shades. Apply and work over gradually on a small surface (approx. 1 – 2 m2 ) using brush. Apply the paint in all directions, by alternating strokes from right to left and vice-versa and from top to bottom and vice-versa, so that the product can even out properly. After roughly 5 – 10 minutes, work over the treated part again using brush without paint and move the particles towards the uncovered zones with soft superficial brush strokes. Once the smooth part of the paint has dried, while the relief particles are still wet (after about 10 minutes) smoothen SERENOVA GLITTER lightly using the plastic spatula with alternating and criss-cross strokes.

JN Speciality primer – 80 to 120 Sq.ft per Ltr for one coat
Serenova – 80 to 100 Sq.ft per Ltr for one coat on smooth surfaces
